Safari Bali & Komodo Liveaboard 13 days trip

Day 1 to 5 : Ubud & Menjangan (from the 26th to 30th of June)

This amazing diving trip starts with a 5 days diving Safari in Bali. We will come to pick you up at the airport or at your hotel in Bali and take you to our dive center in Pemuteran (North-West of Bali). On the way we will stop in Ubud for one night to enjoy the wonderful jungle landscapes of the area and its traditional specialty, the Luwak or Civet coffee. We will also stop at the Munduk Lakes to enjoy the incredible view and finally arrive in Pemuteran. You will be checked-in at the hotel and do your first dive in Pemuteran Bay. On the third day, you will go for two dives in the West of the exceptional Menjangan Marine Park and in the evening, you will go for a night dive. On the day 4, we will go for 3 dives in the East of Menjangan Marine Park. The 5th day, we will do 2 dives in Pemuteran in the morning and then hit the road and head to Sanur. We will stop to visit Pulaki Temple in the afternoon. Later, you will take rest at your hotel before getting ready for your flight to Komodo!

Day 1 to 5 : Bali East coat (from the 26th to 30th August)

The adventure begins! We will come and pick you up at the airport or at your hotel if you are already in Bali. Our Safari team will drive you to Tulamben, on the East coast of Bali, where you might have enough time to do your refreshment or check dive on the USAT Liberty shipwreck during the afternoon. If not, you will take rest at the hotel. The next day, we will go to Amed for two incredible dives in the morning, on the sites of Jemeluk Wall and Pyramids. Later, after sunset, we will go for a night dive on the Liberty shipwreck, an exceptional dive... On the third day, we will go for the best dive sites of Tulamben: Liberty & Drop Off in the morning and Coral Garden in the afternoon. The day after, we will take you to Sanur and on the road, we will stop to visit the famous Hindu temple of Tirta Gangga and have an epic lunch on the beach in Sanur. In the afternoon, you will go to your hotel. After check-in, you will take rest at your hotel. The next day, you will enjoy the hotel and Sanur area, you are free to go visit the city center, the beach, its restaurants and shops, have a nice lunch and dinner before getting ready for your flight to Komodo!

Day 6 to 13 : Komodo Liveaboard

Once arrived in Labuan Bajo, the cruise team will be at the airport to pick you up and take you to the harbor. When on board, we will go through a quick presentation and safety briefing. After what, we will lift the anchor and stop for our first check-dive in Sabolan. In the evening, we will head to the Northern part of the park and in the 7th day, we will do 3 dives in Sebayor, Tatawa and Gili Lawa Darat. On the next day, we will keep exploring the North of Komodo National Park and go diving in the world famous dive sites of Crystal Rock, Castle Rock and Shotgun where marine life is impressive and dynamic. The 9th day, we will go back and reach the centre of Komodo. We will go for 2 dives in the morning where you will be surrounded by Manta rays in Tatawa Kecil or Batu Bolong and Karang Makassar. In the afternoon, we will go to Loh Liang ranger station to see the famous Komodo dragons and finish the day on the Pink Beach. The day after, we will be in the South part of the park. 2 dives are scheduled today in Manta Alley and Nusa Kode (South of Rinca Island). On the 11th day, still in the South Rinca area, we will do 3 dives in the morning and go for a trekking in the afternoon on Padar Island where you can admire the best and most famous landscape of Komodo. The newt day, we will be back in central Komodo where we will go for 2 dives in the morning and end the day with an incredible sunset featured with a show of flying bats next to Kalong Island. On the 13th day, it will be time to say goodbye. We will be back in Labuan Bajo early morning, we will enjoy our last breakfast onboard and share pictures and memories of the trip before doing the check-out. After what, we will drive you to the airport for your return to Bali.

You can either start your journey on a Liveaboard in Komodo Marine Park, or on our Bali Dive Safaris. During this Diving Trip Indonesia, you will find healthy and colorful coral gardens, hundreds of fish species, caves, seamounts, shipwrecks, walls, tiny critters, muck dives, pelagic species, dives with currents, dives with no current, artificial reefs full of life, mangroves, deep dives, dives in shallow waters, shore dives, dives by boat, open sea dives, semi-enclosed bays dives and the list continues with all you can imagine. To get the best experience possible with the good balance between holiday and activities we do recommend at least 14 days (8 days in Bali, 6 days in Komodo) to complete this Bali & Komodo trip.
If you choose to start your Diving Trip in Bali, you will dive in some of the best Bali dive sites.
In Tulamben: the famous USAT Liberty Wreck, the Drop Off, Coral Garden and the marvelous Night dive on the Liberty Wreck.
In Amed: Jemeluk Wall & Pyramids.
In Nusa Lembongan & Penida: Manta Point, Crystal Bay, Mangrove, Toyapakeh, & SD.
Then, you will explore North Komodo dive sites (April to December), please note that dive sites may vary depending on sea condition and experience level, however most of North Komodo Dive Sites are world-class diving, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, The Cauldron, Batu Bolong, Tatawa Besar & Kecil and Makassar Reef for Manta dive.

Not at all, beginners can do discover scuba diving during the cruise (let us know to arrange it)

Open water certified divers or equivalent will have access to most of the dive sites, but to make the best of the cruise Advanced level and experience in drift dive is recommended. You can spend a few days with us in Bali before starting your cruise, by joining our Safari tour or to get your Advanced certification in one of our four dive centers, it will allow you to dive up to 30m depth, to join night dives and be more confident and comfortable while drift diving.

For an even better training we recommend you to join the drift specialty in Nusa Lembongan.

Indonesia spread over its more than 5000 km along the Equator which offers a tropical climate with only two season, dry & wet.

Dry season is mainly from May to October Wet season from November to April.
Keep in mind that Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago, so you can visit year-round as wet season won’t start in the same time in different places.

Landscapes are also pretty different due to Tropical rainforest climate and Tropical savannah climate.

We do recommend you to bring your own gears if you already own it. If not it’s not a big deal, you can rent the full set onboard, some of our partners provide rental equipment for free, maximum you can expect another 60$ per day.
As a reminder, every scuba diver should be equipped with: Wetsuite/BCD/Regulator set/Fins/Weight system/Dive computer/SMB/Torchlight/Compass.

Nitrox tanks are available on most of the boats, please refer to the boat description.

Most of the time €, Us$ are accepted onboard, but we do recommend you to bring enough cash in local currency IDR. Payement by card are available on some boats, please refer to the boat description.
Most of electric outlets on board are European type.

Tipping from 5 to 10% of the cruise amount are expected, it express your satisfaction level. Tips are also an important income part for crew members.
