A real drift dive adventure
Siaba Kecil is an island in the Central part of the Komodo National Park. This is the other Siaba island, across the channel from Siaba Besar, on the West side. And as its name suggests, Siaba Kecil is the smaller Siaba island: kecil means small in local language.
As its sister island, the highlight of Siaba Kecil is diving, but unlike the dives in Siaba Besar, here current can be strong and the drift a real adventure for moderately expert divers. Depending on the current, the dive can start from the east or west cape of the little island. This drift dive runs through alluring canyons ending with a gorgeous coral garden. Within the canyons are spectacular and mysterious caves home to the big pelagic fish species. Beginners divers can also enjoy the area, just hanging around the gardens avoiding the flying drift.
