    North & Central Raja Ampat: you will embark on the vessel in Waisai harbor and go for a 7 days and 6 nights cruise. With this itinerary, you will have the chance to dive in many dive sites of the North of Raja Ampat, you will go to Gam, West and North-West of Waigeo Island, Kawe Island, Wayag islands, Pianemo Island and Dampier Strait. This cruise has a famous itinerary that offers the perfect combination between oceanic dive sites and beautiful macro.

    Central & South Raja Ampat:
    for this itinerary, the boat leaves from Sorong and goes to Central and South of Raja Ampat for a minimum of 8 days and 7 nights. The itinerary can be reverted or extended for organization purposes. You will go through the stunning tiny strait that separates the islands of Salawati and West Papua. This area is composed of many islets and small bays that can’t wait to be explored. We will head to the South-East of Misool and dive in wonderful sites between Daram, Pelee and Yellit. After few days, we will cruise back North to the West of Batanta and Pianemo Island. We will end this wonderful trip with the exploration of the famous Dampier Straits. This itinerary is full of amazing dive sites, the divers’ paradise.

    How to get to Raja Ampat?

    Raja Ampat is a remote paradise, but you can reach Raja Ampat archipelago easily by plane. If you leave from Bali, the fastest is to make a stop or transit in Jakarta. The whole journey is only 10 hours from Bali. After that, many other options are available but for cruise departure you should land in Sorong airport in Raja Ampat, to make it easier for pick up to reach the harbor. Other transport options are available such as the combo bus and ferry. It makes the journey much much cheaper but takes much more time (more than 4 days from Bali).

    Once you arrived, you have everything at hand. The cruise crew will pick you up at the place of your choice in Sorong area or at the airport. After that, let’s head to the harbor and the vessel!

    How to Get to Raja Ampat?

    Raja Ampat is the divers’ heaven; many islands and environments are available. Believe it or not but you can find 75% of world’s coral diversity there! This is a proof that nature made it different over there. On the side, this incredible diversity attracts as many fishes and critters as you could expect. In this archipelago, you will find small and hidden bays and small straits as well as open sea and big straits. These are the perfect features so you can see many different species. The currents light or strong bring different kinds of marine animals…

    In Raja Ampat jewel archipelago, among the flow of species, you can expect to encounter oceanic Manta rays, schools of fishes such as Barracudas or Mobulas, Wobbegong or Carpet shark, Frogfish, Nudibranchs, many varieties of shrimps and crabs…There is for every taste, divers: be ready to no longer know where to look; photographers: get ready to often change your camera lens. You will always be distracted by something else… Dives are stunning, full of profusion! If you’re mostly fond of reefs, corals and marine flora, you should definitely take some dives in Cape Kri, Blue Magic or Melissa’s Garden which are renowned for being the best dive sites to discover this marvellous underwater environment.

    You can expect the water temperature to be consistent around 29°C.
    The topography of the dive sites varies a lot according to the dive site chosen.
    The best season to dive in Raja Ampat is from October to May.

    The on-land treasures of Raja Ampat

    Raja Ampat is composed of 4 mains islands, Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati and Misool are the main and biggest island in the region. The region itself covers 40.000 km2 in West Papua province.
    Wayag Island and Pianemo Island are internationally famous for their magazine landscapes which you must have already seen and thought that this is paradise.

    On the side of the stunning landscapes and sunset you can find in this region, it is also renowned worldwide for being the nest of the Birds of Paradise. What is the Bird-of-Paradise? An extremely rare bird, composed of few species only and having its only habitat in Raja Ampat region. There are many there and as you might imagine, this species is exotic and wonderful, they are not called “Birds of Paradise” for no reason. So, yes, it is also the ornithologists’ heaven, and they are numerous birds’ tourists and researchers travelling the islands.

    Raja Ampat Best Dive Sites

    Boo Island and the famous Boo Window, one of the favorite dive sites in Raja Ampat, a rock formation with a going through gaping hole. On the side of this, the diversity here is just stunning, hard and soft colorful corals and incredible marine life are present. Shadow Reef, few pinnacles being used by Manta rays as their cleaning stations, enjoy the show!
    4 Kings dive site, there are few pinnacles where you will see schools of Barracudas, Trevallies, turtles and many more…
    Cape Kri detains the record of the number of species identify within one dive, it is world famous dive site!
    Blue Magic in Dampier Strait is a magical dive site where currents bring big pelagic such as black and white tip sharks, reef sharks, barracudas, octopus and Mantas are all over the place.
    If you want to see more Manta, you have to go to Manta Ridge.
    Sardine Reef should also be quoted among the best dive sites as you will find everything there, from big to small fishes. This dive site is full of excitement! 
    Raja Ampat counts numerous amazing dive sites and this short list can’t fully represent the amount of possibilities and diversity present there. However, you definitely to go diving on these sites.

    Not at all, beginners can do discover scuba diving during the cruise (let us know to arrange it)


    Open water certified divers or equivalent will have access to most of the dive sites, but to make the best of the cruise Advanced level and experience in drift dive is recommended. You can spend a few days with us in Bali before starting your cruise, by joining our Safari tour or to get your Advanced certification in one of our four dive centers, it will allow you to dive up to 30m depth, to join night dives and be more confident and comfortable while drift diving.

    For an even better training we recommend you to join the drift specialty in Nusa Lembongan.

    Indonesia spread over its more than 5000 km along the Equator which offers a tropical climate with only two season, dry & wet.

    Dry season is mainly from May to October Wet season from November to April.
    Keep in mind that Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago, so you can visit year-round as wet season won’t start in the same time in different places.

    Landscapes are also pretty different due to Tropical rainforest climate and Tropical savannah climate.

    Komodo: All year around
    North Komodo: April to December

    Banda Island: September to November
    Alor: May to November

    We do recommend you to bring your own gears if you already own it. If not it’s not a big deal, you can rent the full set onboard, some of our partners provide rental equipment for free, maximum you can expect another 60$ per day.
    As a reminder, every scuba diver should be equipped with: Wetsuite/BCD/Regulator set/Fins/Weight system/Dive computer/SMB/Torchlight/Compass.


    Nitrox tanks are available on most of the boats, please refer to the boat description.

    Most of the time €, Us$ are accepted onboard, but we do recommend you to bring enough cash in local currency IDR. Payement by card are available on some boats, please refer to the boat description.
    Most of electric outlets on board are European type.

    Tipping from 5 to 10% of the cruise amount are expected, it express your satisfaction level. Tips are also an important income part for crew members.
