Wildlife

Amed has an exceptional marine diversity: you will see Humphead Parrotfish, schools of Trevally, Ribbon Moray eels, Clown fish, Nudibranchs, all sortes of shrimps along with Ghost Pipefish, Leaf Scorpionfish, Pygmy Seahorses, giant Barracuda, Frogfish, Groupers, Jackfish, Angelfish, Turtles, Blacktip and Whitetip sharks. If you are very lucky you may even encounter a Whale Shark, an Eagle ray or even a Mola Mola!

Depth

Depth varies according to the dive site chosen. However, you will not need to go deeper than 40 meters. Snorkelers can access few dive sites as the Japanese wreck is not in deep waters and corals are visible from the surface.
