    The island is home to a huge marine biodiversity, with beautiful coral reefs. Many of the marine animals that thrive in the Pacific swim through these waters turning Misool into a paradise for divers and snorkelers. This underwater paradise is also a route for larger sea creatures, including whales. No wonder why around Misool you will find many popular dives sites, such as Nudi Rock, Magic Mountain, Yillet, and Boo Windows. Be ready to enjoy some of the world’s most unique marine topography.

    In terms of the best diving in Misool, there are a few areas worth a visit, as the Misool region is a big group of fascinating islands where biodiversity is improving rather than declining. Among these areas you will find plenty of dive sites, for different diving levels, with different scenarios as well as different marine life. Some sites are the perfect spots for macro photographers, encountering huge sea slugs, crocodile fish, seahorses, pipefish, and nudibranch, scorpionfish, camouflaged crabs, and punching shrimps.

    Other sites are more sheltered being a snorkeling delight. There are also caves and overhangs to explore, a wall with a 20-meter-long tunnel inhabited by midnight snapper, Indonesian sweetlips, and accented with soft coral and sponges. Some sites are ideal for night dives. You will see steep bommies and massive reef cliffs, plenty of soft and hard coral to explore. You will enjoy the sight of sharks, mantas, turtles, sperm whales, sea snakes, humphead parrotfish, butterflyfish and angelfish, crustaceans, nudibranchs, some mimic octopuses, bush corals, whip corals, more walls, and caverns, just let your imagination flow, since Misool is a diving paradise. The private Misool Marine Reserve protects all of the dive sites; therefore, whichever dive site you choose, it is sure to be an unfiltered experience.

You can take a stand up paddleboard or a kayak around the thousands of limestone pinnacles out of the perfectly turquoise sea that surrounds the island. On land, the wild territory of Misool is absolutely breath-taking and captivating. The island is heavily forested, with diverse ecosystems amongst its luxurious vegetation and mangrove swamps. Search for some hidden lagoons, enjoy the lakes, hike breathtaking viewpoints, explore ancient caves, go for a swim or snorkel in Timolol’s mysterious submerged cave. There are a few beaches with pure white sand, stunningly turquoise waters and fringed with coconut trees. Learn about fascinating old traditions of the unique mix of local tribes. Don’t miss a visit to the ancient cultural sites, as a number of petroglyphs can be found on walls of caves throughout the island, dating back approximately 5,000 years.

    To enter Indonesia your passport must have:

    Open water certified divers or equivalent will have access to most of the dive sites, but to make the best of the cruise Advanced level and experience in drift dive is recommended. You can spend a few days with us in Bali before starting your cruise, by joining our Safari tour or to get your Advanced certification in one of our four dive centers, it will allow you to dive up to 30m depth, to join night dives and be more confident and comfortable while drift diving.

    For an even better training we recommend you to join the drift specialty in Nusa Lembongan.

    Indonesia spread over its more than 5000 km along the Equator which offers a tropical climate with only two season, dry & wet.

    Dry season is mainly from May to October Wet season from November to April.
    Keep in mind that Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago, so you can visit year-round as wet season won’t start in the same time in different places.

    Landscapes are also pretty different due to Tropical rainforest climate and Tropical savannah climate.

    We do recommend you to bring your own gears if you already own it. If not it’s not a big deal, you can rent the full set onboard, some of our partners provide rental equipment for free, maximum you can expect another 60$ per day.
    As a reminder, every scuba diver should be equipped with: Wetsuite/BCD/Regulator set/Fins/Weight system/Dive computer/SMB/Torchlight/Compass.

    Most of the time €, Us$ are accepted onboard, but we do recommend you to bring enough cash in local currency IDR. Payement by card are available on some boats, please refer to the boat description.
    Most of electric outlets on board are European type.

    Tipping from 5 to 10% of the cruise amount are expected, it express your satisfaction level. Tips are also an important income part for crew members.
