    Premium Geographic location

Due to the location of Komodo National Park; between the major landmasses of Sumbawa to the west and Flores to the east, the sea passages of this area have been vital gateways for the exchange of fauna and marine flora and between the Pacific and Indian and oceans. Strong daily tidal flows mixed with nutrient-rich water coming from the depths of the Indian Ocean, create ideal conditions for thousands of species of corals and tropical fish to flourish.
