How this site collects, uses and keeps your personal data.
Who processes your data
The data controller is PT Concepts Selam Indonesia, a limited liability company incorporated in Indonesia, with its registered office at Jalan Arjuna, Pemuteran, Bali, Indonesia.

The data we collect
We only collect the data you send us through the site forms: enquiries to a dive centre, safari, professional training and cruise requests, requests for custom cruise quotes, and ebook requests.
Depending on the form used, this data is:
- your first and last name,
- your email address,
- your phone number,
- your country,
- the dates you are considering,
- the message you write,
- the first name, last name and diver or non-diver status of the people you register with you.
Why we use it
Your data is used to answer your request and to arrange the service you ask for. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
When you request an ebook, your address is also added to a mailing list so we can send you that document and, where relevant, news about our activities. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link included in every message.
How long we keep it
Your enquiries are kept for as long as they remain useful to follow up our relationship with you. No automatic deletion is scheduled.
You may ask for your data to be deleted at any time, and we will do so within the period stated below. Addresses on the mailing list stay there until you unsubscribe, through the link included in every message.
Who else has access
We rely on providers acting on our behalf:
- Brevo, a French company, to send ebooks and manage the mailing list; the data is hosted in the European Union. If you consent to it, Brevo also places a tracker on every page that records your browsing and links it to your address when you are on the mailing list.
- Google, for the reCAPTCHA service that protects the forms against automated submissions and, if you consent to it, for audience measurement and for advertising, including retargeting — showing you our ads on other sites after your visit. These services involve a transfer of data to the United States.
- AdRoll, a US company, for advertising retargeting, if you consent to it. This service records the pages you view in order to show you our ads elsewhere on the web. The data is transferred to the United States.
- Meta, a US company, to measure how well our ads perform and for retargeting on Facebook and Instagram, if you consent to it. The data is transferred to the United States.
- DreamHost, LLC, a US company, which hosts the site: PMB #327, 417 Associated Rd., Brea, CA 92821, United States. The data is therefore stored in the United States.
Cookies
Two cookies are required for the site to work and do not need your consent: the one that keeps your session, with your language and currency, and the one that protects forms against request forgery. A third one stores your answer to the cookie banner, for six months.
Audience measurement and advertising cookies depend on your choice. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, they stay disabled until you accept. From other countries they may be enabled as soon as you arrive, and you can refuse them at any time.
You can change your mind whenever you wish, through the « Manage cookies » link at the bottom of every page.
These trackers are those of Google Analytics, Google Ads, AdRoll, Meta and Brevo. Refusing disables all of them.
To apply this rule, your country is derived from your IP address using a database installed on our own server. Your address is not sent to any outside service.
The reCAPTCHA service, present on pages with a form, sends your IP address and browsing information to Google in order to tell a visitor apart from an automated program.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to restriction of processing and data portability. To exercise them, write to info@diveconcepts.com. You will receive an answer within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
